Listening to the radio around 5pm on Saturday and there was a mention of a late, late equaliser for Port Vale against Reading.
At one point not that long ago, that would have been a cause for concern with a team at the bottom of the table getting an unexpected point.
Not any more. It was a welcome goal, depriving a playoff rival of two points. Much has changed in the past few weeks. And much changed on Saturday at Home Park.
At the final whistle of that 5-2 win over Cardiff City, the league leaders looked shellshocked, they are not used to such angst as they arrived four points clear of second and 12 points clear in the automatic promotion places.
