It begins with ‘P’ and ends in ‘H’ and it is the most remote football city in the country but, in terms of distance from other football centres, Perth blows Plymouth out of the water.
The closest major metropolis to the capital of Western Australia is Adelaide, a full 1,700 miles away.
It is a challenge that the A-League club have been dealing with over the years. Obviously, the situation between Home Park and HBF Park is not the same (for a start, there is no promotion and relegation in Australian professional football to worry/get excited about) but that does not mean that there is nothing to learn from each other.
