Cardiff: Reasons to be cheerful

Argyle lost 4-0 at Cardiff in August but as the League One leaders visit Home Park on Saturday lunchtime for a mouth-watering clash, there are reasons for those of a green persuasion to be cheerful. Argyle’s 4-0 loss at Cardiff City at the end of August feels like a long time ago, because in football terms, that is exactly what it is.

Much has changed since, of course.  Well, some things have. The Welsh club are still top, as they were on that summer’s day but the team from Devon have been on a real journey.

When you are six points from the playoffs with 14 games to go, every match feels crucial, any loss seems seismic when there is not much room for error.
