Cardiff: Reasons to be cheerful

Much has changed since, of course.  Well, some things have. The Welsh club are still top, as they were on that summer’s day but the team from Devon have been on a real journey. 

When you are six points from the playoffs with 14 games to go, every match feels crucial, any loss seems seismic when there is not much room for error.

Just a week or so ago, I wrote about how, with no relegation to think about and no promotion to play for, it was time for Tom Cleverley to start thinking of next season.
